Keene ISD

E3 partnered with Keene ISD through the Texas LoanSTAR Program to develop and implement districtwide lighting improvements across the High-Junior High School, Elementary School, Field House, and Multi-Purpose Stadium campuses. The project included facility assessments, engineering analysis, and development of LED lighting solutions designed to improve lighting quality, reduce maintenance requirements, and lower energy consumption.

Engineering analysis projected annual energy savings of 439,669 kWh, demand reduction of 207 kW, and total annual utility and maintenance savings exceeding $71,000

The scope included interior and exterior LED lighting upgrades, replacement of aging fluorescent and HID lighting systems, and improvements to athletic lighting facilities. Lighting improvements were implemented throughout instructional, administrative, support, and athletic spaces across the District.

The Multi-Purpose Stadium portion of the project included replacement of the football field sports lighting system with new LED sports lighting fixtures, wireless controls, commissioning, training, and turn-key installation services. The new fixtures provide full RGB color capability and programmable special effects, enabling the District to execute color displays and light shows for athletic events, graduations, and community functions.
